# Vermont Transit Corridor Project Breaks Ground

Metro and LA officials broke ground on a 12.4-mile bus rapid transit project. Daily ridership is projected to rise from 38,000 to over 66,200 by 2045. The project, funded partly by a $149.9 million federal grant, aims to improve transit for South LA residents.
