# Philips CD-i Powered by USB-C

MattKC built a custom board to power a Philips CD-i via USB-C. The console requires 5V at 3A and a -5V line, which standard chargers can't supply. A CH221K and TPSM8478 chip enable 9V negotiation and voltage conversion.
