The ongoing Red Flag Parking Restrictions in Pasadena have been extended until 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, and may be extended again depending on weather conditions. Parking is restricted on posted narrow or winding roads in the city’s urban-wildland interface areas to allow improved fire department access and resident evacuation. Vehicles parked in violation are subject to ticketing and towing. Windy conditions combined with low humidity prompted the action. A Red Flag Warning means critical fire weather conditions are expected, which, combined with dry fuels, could create extreme fire danger
