What a rough year! January 2, 2021 | Health · Open Source · Travel I managed to avoid getting infected with COVID-19, but I had my share of medical issues during 2020. They weren’t dangerous, but some were annoying and stressful as hell. Having a good health insurance is extremely important, especially if you live in a foreign country. I had to stay in hospital for one night after being bitten by a dog, and the bill was about $4,500. A decent insurance plan costs about $1,000 a year in Thailand, and it’s very much worth it.
