# Eastern Cape rain: Port St Johns gets most rain

Heavy rain hit the Eastern Cape, with Port St Johns recording 98mm in 24 hours. Other areas like Peddie and Mthatha also saw significant rainfall. The OR Tambo District Municipality reported flooding and travel issues.
