# TCP urgent data vulnerability in Bitcoin Core

A vulnerability in Bitcoin Core on non-Linux systems allows malicious peers to cause memory exhaustion. The issue affects Windows, macOS, and BSD nodes via TCP urgent data. Fixes were released in versions 29.5, 30.4, 31.2, and 32.1.
