A Stellenbosch mother has died in hospital five days after a crash that claimed the life of her six-year-old son on Helshoogte Pass in the Western Cape. Gaynor Adams, 38, died at Tygerberg Hospital on Tuesday, 27 October, after sustaining critical injuries in the collision. Her son, Berto-Lee Adams, a Grade R learner at St Idas Primary School, died at the scene on Thursday, 22 October.
