# Google Finnish Subsidiary Faces Environmental Probe

Finland's Oulu Police opened a criminal probe into Google's Finnish subsidiary for deforestation before environmental reviews. It cleared 815 acres near Muhos and 495 acres near Kajaani. The investigation is classified as environmental degradation and will run into 2027.
