NASA FIRMS maps satellite-detected fires

NASA's Fire Information for Resource Management System provides near-real-time fire hotspots from orbiting sensors, with maps, alerts and downloads. Satellite hotspots are not the same as confirmed ground incidents; follow local emergency instructions.
