Macon-Bibb County Recognizes Women Firefighters

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Four women with the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department were honored Thursday for their service, including one firefighter who says women in the profession don’t always get the recognition they deserve. The ceremony was held at the Macon-Bibb County Administration Building, where Judy Heath of the Georgia Federation of Business and Professional Women presented certificates honoring the firefighters for their service.
