Stopped at a food truck in New Mexico for lunch today. It was my first encounter with a Square terminal in the wild and I enthusiastically tapped the Bitcoin icon. But I couldn't scan the QR in any way. The server tried cleaning the dust, tried multiple angels due to light reflections. Nothing, not even a generic QR code scanner would pick it up. So I paid for my tacos with fiat.
