16,000 Sign Up for Hong Kong Taxi and Ride-Hailing Exam

Approximately 16,000 Hong Kong residents have signed up for a joint exam to drive taxis or ride-hailing vehicles. Transport chief Mable Chan confirmed the enthusiasm and announced ride-hailing permit allocation in November. The government may increase odds for certain drivers in the lottery.
