John Adams Teacher Honored for Civic Education

Jorge Cierra, a social studies teacher at John Adams Middle School, was honored by Teach Democracy for civic education. His work helped students become informed and engaged community members. Former students presented a project on America's 250th anniversary at the Beverly Hilton event.
