Park Freed Of Drugs The LA Times reported June 4, 2026 on the latest push to reclaim the park from fentanyl. They cited a three phase effort to reclaim the park starting with dismantling the leadership of the 18th Street gang. The second phase was to clear dealers and suppliers of narcotics in the park.
