This past summer the Cook Memorial Library, the Libertyville Historical Society, and the Libertyville Recreation department partnered on a community activity to celebrate America’s 250. The Stars and Parks Adventure invited residents to take a stroll through history while enjoying the beauty of sixteen of Libertyville’s parks. At each of the parks, participants visited stations offering historical information about the park, the nearby area, and the United States. If you didn’t make it to the parks this summer, the sign text is below. Use this parks map to plan your own adventure! Enjoy!
